How to make bracelet from pearls and satin ribbon
Summer is coming! Bright accessories will be as trendy as ever. And if you learn how to make them yourself, you may cheaply and curiously diversify your casket.
- Bead-pearls (green, black, cream-colored)
- Satin ribbon
- Any strength threads, you may even use a wire
On this picture you see everything you need for a bracelet. All process of making it will take not more than 30 minutes. You should better choose beads of different size.
We measure the length of the ribbon with hand taking into account the fact that you will have to tie a bow.
Threading the thread into a needle and start sewing beads onto the ribbon. Don’t forget to recede from the edge for sufficient distance so that you could tie this end into a bow. You’d better do it with reserve as it is easier to cut off unnecessary than to lengthen the ribbon.
Sew the beads on chaotically, it looks better this way. And choose one leading color, the rest are accessorial. My leading color is – green.
From time to time string 2 or 3 beads on a needle, they go differently and bring an additional variety into the bracelet’s look.
Having tried it on hand, stop at the moment when part filled with beads completely fit the wrist.
You may end like this if you already like it. But I’ll go further.
I wanted to make the bracelet more bulky on the hand. To do that you should twist it spirally.
After we got pretty folded spiral, tie knots on the edges of beads.
In order to keep the spiral in the same position you have twisted it, you need to grab the ribbon with threads in two-three parts.
We tie a bow in a wrist. Our cheerful bracelet is ready.
- If you don’t have strong threads in the same tone, you should better take a fishing-line it is stronger than threads and less visible.
