- First i’ll show how to make a simple voluminous snowflake.
Scissor out 5 equal stripes, the length doesn’t matter, the width 0.2-0.4 inches (0.5-1 cm). Gum the two edges of the stripe, as a result you will get such an eyelet. Scissor out 5 more small equal stripes (they may be of different colors) and gum them in a circle.

Now, according to the pattern (see picture) put the parts of the snowflake together, join them with some glue.
You get such a light and elegant snowflake.
- Now i’ll show how to make a fan-like snowflake
Scissor out 2 equal squares. Remember how you used to make fantails in your childhood, and now pleat the squares exactly the same way.
Scissor the triangles on the edges.
You can also scissor out various geometric figures (triangles, rectangulars and semicircles) on each side.
Pleat your fan in two once again, having gummed the edges from one side. Do the second part the same way.
You only need to join two fans with a thread you will hang your new snowflake on. You have got a round voluminous snowflake.

Taken a paper circle, pleat it in 4, two times in two. You can pleat it even in 8, this way your snowflake will be more delicate. After that start scissoring it out. You can use a stencil plate or just draw an image (a rabbit, a dragon or a Christmas tree) to scissor out an ordinary paper snowflake.
