You´ll need

  • Sweet almond oil – 1.41 oz (40 g)
  • Polysorbate-80 – 0.35 oz (10 g)
  • Cornflower hydrosol – 0.88 oz (25 g)
  • Rose hydrosol – 0.88 oz (25 g)
  • Phenonip preservative – 0.02 oz (0.5 g)

    We weigh sweet almond oil and add Polysorbate-80 to it. Sweet almond oil is used for preparation of even baby cosmetics, so you may bravely use it for making of make-up removing tonic.

    Add hydrosols to the oil, mixed with Polysorbate. Cornflower hydrosol is widely considered to be one of the best for tender skin care in the area around eyes. Rose hydrosol, besides of having the strongest moisturizing and rejuvenating skin properties also possesses a rich fragrance. The fragrance helps to hide not very pleasant smell of Polysorbate.

    Biphasic make-up removing tonic is my favorite cosmetic product for skin cleansing. I often buy such tonics, experimenting with brands and now I see how easy it is to make one by yourself. Is it as effective as the one sold in the market?

    All the ingredients are absolutely correct. I use the same recipe and I should say that the biphasic tonic which I make is great! It cleanses the skin perfectly.
