How to make effervescent tablets for manicure
Hands – is person’s business card, that’s why we pay so much attention and dedicate so much time to manicure. It doesn’t matter where is the manicure done – in a nail studio or at home, in any case one adhere to the definite order of actions that is – correction of the form of nails, bath, cutting off the cuticle and nail polish. Special effervescent tablets for manicure not only soften cuticle and prepare it for trimming, but also strengthen nails, giving the hand skin well-groomed look.
- Baking soda – 4 tbsp
- Citric acid – 2 tbsp
- Magnesium sulfate – 1 tbsp
- Sea salt – 1 tbsp
- Sweet almond oil – 1 tbsp
- Polysorbate-80 – 1 tsp
- Lavender essential oil – 10 drops
With the help of a coffee grinder we grind sea salt and magnesium sulfate (Epsom salt). You can take simple sea salt or like our – tinted one.
We mix baking soda, citric acid, sea salt and magnesium sulfate.
To sweet almond oil we add Polysorbate-80. Almond oil will take care and nourish the skin during having a bath and Polysorbate will allow avoid unpleasant feeling of over fatting of skin.
We also add lavender essential oil there.
Mix everything up and pour oily mixture into dry components.
We mix it up, we should get a mixture similar to consistence of wet sand – if you squeeze it in hand, and the lump will keep its form and won’t fall into pieces.
We densely ram the mixture received into silicone molds of small size (you may use molds for ice) and leave it to dry up.
In 1-2 hours ready tablets for manicure are easily taken out of molds. One effervescent tablet is enough for a bath to soften cuticle and prepare it for the trimming that follows. Hand skin becomes soft, tender, and well-groomed after such bath, peeling and reddening are removed.
- You may use effervescent tablets to strengthen nails and to remove their fragility and exfoliation. In such case you should daily make baths for 15 minutes during 10-14 days.
