It is a nearly ideal cream for me, even though it is a bit sticky

I love the pharmaceutical cosmetics, and the La Roche-Posay brand is my favorite one. When buying my usual cream, I was given a sample of the German Eucerin Aquaporin Active moistening cream for normal skin. Despite having very dry skin, I tried the product given for free.

I have to say that the sample is very decent. It’s not a drop of cream between two papers, you know, but an integral small tube, probably a 5 ml one. All in all, you have a possibility to test it fully. The cream is designed as a natural and hypoallergenic one that is suitable for problem skin and it’s very moistening in the deepest epidermis layers.

Now I’ll say a few words about my impressions. The cream has a tender consistence and can be easily spread over the skin. Due to this fact, it’s very economical. The smell is agreeable and faint. The effect is very long-lasting, even my extremely dry skin seems soft and moistened during the whole day. Even though it wasn’t designed as anti-aging, it perfectly suits me in my late 50s.

There is only one trouble – the feeling of stickiness after spreading. Don’t try to put on cosmetics immediately upon the cream. Nevertheless, this stickiness disappears in about half an hour. I’ve purchased a light version of this cream for normal and mixed skin, it is less sticky, but the effect is less perceptible, too. The rich version for dry skin is more effective, but stickier therefore.
I’ve tried all versions, because I like the cream as a whole, and I used all the tubes with pleasure. Later I returned to the initial variant for normal skin, and now it’s one of my favorite creams. The 18$ price for 30 ml is also rather accessible for a cream of such quality. Just don’t spread your make-up upon it.
