How to cook a holiday snack of tomatoes and quail eggs
This is very simple and quickly made snack – “mushrooms” from quail eggs and Cherry tomatoes is capable to decorate table during occasional dinner and holiday meal.
- Quail eggs – 10 pieces
- Cherry tomatoes – 5 pieces
- Curry powder
Quail eggs should be boiled and carefully off-shelled.
We wash Cherry tomatoes, cut them in halves.
We remove pulp from tomatoes with a spoon.
We mix mayonnaise with salt and curry.
We fill in halves of tomatoes with this sauce.
Take wooden skewers and build mushrooms – the quail egg will be a stem and half of tomato – a mushroom cap. We skewer two little mushrooms on every skewer.
Before serving we draw dots on mushroom caps.
You need to serve little mushrooms of quail eggs and cherry on a plane dish, desirably on lettuce leaves.
