How to make muddy mask for hair
Unique properties of therapeutic muds have been used for a long time for making different cosmetic products. Rich in micro and macro elements, vitamin-, hormone- and antibiotic-like substances medical mud has a powerful effect on the skin and hair, helping to get rid of many cosmetic problems. For instance, you may remove such a trouble as dandruff by regular applying of muddy mask with laurel and neem oils.
- Neem oil – 0.18 oz (5 g)
- Laurel oil – 0.18 oz (5 g)
- Therapeutic mud – 0.35 oz (10 g)
- Precipitated sulfur – 0.03 oz (1 g)
- Cedar essential oil – 10 drops
Neem and laurel oils, being stored in a fridge become solid. Before making the mask you should heat them up on a water bath. These oils possess the strongest antifungal and antibacterial effects, normalize the health state of head skin, lower its greasiness, and remove dandruff.
We add medical mud to melted oils. Active substances contained in the mud stimulate hair growth and improve head skin health state.
Mix everything thoroughly; we should get a homogeneous mass.
So to speed up healing of scalp and getting rid of dandruff as well as production of new cells of epidermis, we add precipitated sulfur.
Add cedar essential oil, known for its disinfecting properties and the ability to remove dandruff.
We mix everything thoroughly and apply it to slightly moisturized hair and scalp for 15-20 minutes. You may wrap your head in a towel. Wash it off by warm water with shampoo. Right after using the muddy mask for several times, you notice reduction of dandruff, state of head skin normalizes, hair greasiness reduces. By applying muddy mask as a course during month (2-3 times a week), you may not only remove dandruff, but also speed up hair growth and strengthen them.
- You may use other essential oils that possess abilities to remove dandruff (kayapute, bey, tea tree etc.) instead of cedar essential oil.
