How to make summer menthol soap of the soap base
Menthol is the most demanded cosmetic ingredient in the summer time. It can give you the coolness and refresh even on the hottest day. Menthol is included in the shampoos, shower gels, creams, lotions, tonics, skin sprays and soaps.
- Crystal Suspending swirl soap base – 3.52 oz (100 g)
- Crystal menthol – 0.17 oz (5 g)
- Sweet almond oil – 0.17 oz (5 g)
- White cosmetic dye
- Green cosmetic dye
- Green tea perfume
Cut the soap base into small pieces, put it on the water bath and heat it until it melts completely.
While the soap base melts, put the tank with the sweet almond oil on the water bath, put the menthol crystals in it. When stirring, wait until the menthol crystals melt completely.
Divide the molten soap base into two parts. Add the green dye in the 2/3 of the liquid stuff.
Pour the menthol melted in oil into it.
Add the cosmetic perfume. The flavor of the green tea is perfectly combined with the coolness of menthol.
Add the white dye in the smaller part (1/3 part) of the liquid soap stuff.
Also add some menthol melted in the sweet almond oil.
Add the cosmetic perfume.
Fill the 2/3 of the mold with the transparent green soap base.
Pour the white soap base in stripes on the surface.
Draw the swirls on the soap with a glass stick. The Crystal Suspending soap base remains liquid for a long time, so, you have a possibility to bring to life the most complicated patterns.
Take the mold away carefully and wait until the soap hardens.
In a few hours you can get the ready soap out of the mold.
As menthol can disappear with time, you should wrap the soap into a food wrap or in a special packaging for the long-term storage.
The menthol soap refreshes your skin and gives it a nice light coolness even at the hottest day.
