How to make gel scrub with polythene granules
One of the obligatory conditions of highly effective result from anti-cellulite means is skin prepared in right way. Using the scrub before you apply anti-cellulite creams or mixtures for wrapping helps to get rid of dead epidermis cells and considerably improve penetration of active components deep into the skin. But majority of agents, directed to struggling against cellulite contain rather aggressive ingredients (essential oils, caffeine, extracts), which must not be applied to damaged skin. So the peeling procedure of keratinized epidermis layer should be very careful, it’s not advisable to use scrubs with rough and big abrasive particles. Ideal variant for scrub before anti-cellulite procedures is – gel with polyethylene granules.
- Rosemary hydrosol – 3.31 oz (94 g)
- Laminaria extract – 0.12 oz (3.5 g)
- Sodium alginate – 0.03 oz (1 g)
- Mannane cognac – 0.02 oz (0.5 g)
- Optiphen plus preservative – 0.03 oz (1 g)
- Polythene granules
We add sodium alginate to rosemary hydrosol and no matter how we tried to stir the powder, anyway there will be formed alginate lumps.
The alginate lumps will be dissolved themselves within 1-1, 5 hours. This is the longest period in process of making gel-scrub, for other following manipulations you will need only several minutes.
Once you get transparent liquid gel, you may start further cooking of the scrub.
Add Mannane cognac into alginate gel, which not only possesses anti-cellulite properties but also improves state of skin. Combined with alginate it allows to get stable thick gel where polythene granules won’t sink.
We mix everything up and add one more component that possesses well-seen anti-cellulite properties – laminaria extract.
Add firm and safe preservative that allows saving our gel-scrub from development of unwanted microbiome.
We mix everything well, the base gel is ready. Liquid at first, then the gel will become more firm.
On the photos we see that even right after being made the base gel safely fixes air bubbles inside.
We add polyethylene granules in the gel. Soft and flexible granules lacking sharp angles perfectly peel off surface layers of epidermis, absolutely not damaging the skin.
You get transparent gel in which there are scrub’s polyethylene particles in suspended state. Gel-scrub is used for preliminary preparation of the skin to anti-cellulite wrappings or applying lymphatic drainage means, it noticeably improves efficiency of anti-cellulite procedures.
- Such gel-scrub may be used not only on preparatory stages of anti-cellulite programs, but also as independent cosmetic means.
