How to prepare the cocoa quickly
Personally for me the cocoa is a drink that reminds me of my childhood, when I used to drink delicious sweet cocoa from a special pannikin. Later I often prepared it for my children and sometimes for myself. As cocoa is also a bit tonic, I sometimes substitute coffee with it. It is easy to prepare, especially if you buy the finely ground cocoa that doesn’t need boiling. You should just pour it with hot water or milk. How to choose the right cocoa? You will read about it below, in the recipe which is designed to prepare one cup of the drink.
- Cocoa – 1 tsp
- Sugar – 1 tsp
- Milk – 1 glass
- Cold water – 2 tbsp
- Saucepan for boiling milk
1. So, first I will tell you a few words about how to choose the ready-to-cook cocoa. It is very easy: you should read the instruction of the drink preparation which you can always find on the packaging. If it is mentioned that the ready drink should be additionally brought to boil or cooked for some time, you will fail to prepare one cup of cocoa quickly, though we will consider this option too. In this case, as you can see, it is enough to pour the cocoa with hot milk or water, and it is suitable for us. Fill the cup with 1 tea spoon of cocoa powder and with 1 tea spoon of sugar.
Mix it thoroughly.
Add a couple of table spoons of water in the cup.
Mix the cocoa, sugar and water again very thoroughly until you get a homogenous mass that looks like liquid chocolate.
Pour a glass of milk into a saucepan and put it on fire. If the milk is pasteurized, you don’t need to boil it, you should only bring it to boil. If the milk needs boiling, do it and wait a few minutes until it cools a little bit.
Pour the hot milk into the chocolate mass gradually and keep stirring it. If you deal with the coarse cocoa the instruction of which states that it should be cooked, do everything the same way until this moment, but don’t pour milk into the cup. On the contrary, you should pour the cocoa with sugar and water into the saucepan of milk and bring it to boil.
The drink gradually lightens and transforms into the usual cocoa.
That is all, bon appetite!
- It is not necessary to take pure milk to prepare the drink. You can dilute it half with water. If you don’t tolerate milk, it can be completely substituted with water, but the drink will greatly differ in its taste.
