How to cook salad with cabbage and pumpkin seeds
Red cabbage perfectly suits for cooking of various salads, which obtain bright appetizing look. Nice taste and increased amount of vitamins allow cooking lots of vegetable salads using it without heat treating, preserving major amount of nutrients. One of such salads, simply in cooking but which differs with its awesome taste is – cabbage salad with pumpkin seeds.
- Red cabbage
- Pumpkin seeds
- Cider vinegar or lemon juice
- Sunflower or olive oil
- Salt, sugar
We finely chop cabbage, squeeze it a little by hands so that it becomes softer.
Add sunflower or olive oil.
We add cider vinegar or lemon juice, mix everything up.
Add salt and sugar to your taste.
Before serving we add slightly fried and peeled pumpkin seeds.
Cabbage salad with crunchy pumpkin seeds is a perfect addition to meat dishes.
- You need to add pumpkin seeds just before serving, otherwise they will become damp, soft and the taste of the salad will noticeably become worse.
