How to make soap with fragrance of acacia
We have already told how to make soap with swirls by using special soap base “Crystal Suspending”. This soap base is very convenient to use, it remains liquid for long and allows making the most difficult swirls.
- Soap base “Crystal Suspending”
- Sweet almond oil
- White and green dyes
- Cosmetic perfume Acacia
So that the soap base would melt quicker, we cut it into small pieces.
We put the tank with soap base on water bath. The soap base for swirls melts longer than usual one.
We add sweet almond oil to melted soap base (for 3.5 oz (100 g) of soap base take one tsp of oil)
We divide our liquid soap base into two parts and add green dye to one of them.
And add the cosmetic perfume with acacia’s scent.
To other one – add white dye and fragrance.
We pour green soap base into a soap frame, filling it for about 2/3.
Along the edge of the soap frame we pour our white soap base.
We pull down curved tubule (we have – straw for cocktail) in the white base and move it several times bottom-up through the green layer, we repeat like this along all length of the soap frame.
Cautiously, without jerky movements, we take away the soap frame and wait till soap base thickens.
12-24 hours later we take out the ready soap bar from the soap frame (if we put the soap frame into a fridge, the soap will thicken much faster, in a few hours).
Cut it with a sharp knife into portion pieces. Our swirls are becoming seen on the cut.
So that the soap would keep its fragrance for a long time and wouldn’t dry up, it should be kept wrapped into a foil or special hermetically closing container for soap.
- Using soap base “Crystal Suspending” you can make soap with such swirls not with two, but with several colors, as a result you’ll get a drawing similar to peacock’s tail.
