How to cook exotic fruit salad with coconut shaving
Fruit salad is always desired dessert, its only drawback is that you should cook such salad right before serving it. Even left for 20-30 minutes, the fruit salad loses its appetizing look – fruits turn out to be covered with juice, whipped cream is going down. Adding coconut shaving into the salad allows you to get rid of these drawbacks and prolong life of pre-cooked fruit salad.

We prepare fruits – wash, peel and cut them.
We put fruits in layers into glass or ramekin, we abundantly sprinkle each layer of fruits with coconut shaving. Coconut shaving not only improves the taste of a salad, but also absorbs fruit juice helping the salad to keep neat and appetizing look.
We decorate the top of the salad by whipped cream.
And we sprinkle it with coconut shaving. Even if whipped cream goes down, coconut shaving will conceal that.
You may pre-cook such fruit salad; it can be stored in a fridge within several hours, not losing its look.
- If fruits are cut less finely you’ll have more juicy salad, as juice won’t flow out of fruit pieces.
