How to make dry mixture for cleansing of sensitive skin
Ayurvedic ubtan – is one of the best cleansing means that contain only natural components. People who possess all types of skin can make use of ubtan. It equally deeply cleanses greasy skin and carefully washes off contaminations from dry. The only restriction is sensitive and prone to allergic rashes skin, which can react on some herbs that ubtan contains. To cleanse such skin you may use dry mixture recipe that doesn’t irritate even the most sensitive skin.
- Corn starch – 0.35 oz (10 g)
- Pink clay – 0.18 oz (5 g)
- Saponaria powder – 0.07 oz (2 g)
- Essential oil of lavender – 5 drops
Mix starch, clay and Saponaria powder. Starch perfectly moisturizes skin, makes it velvet; clay cleanses skin from contaminations and saturates it with minerals; Saponaria powder gives soapiness to mixture, allows cleansing skin even from rests of make-up.
We should get homogeneous powder. In such form we can keep the mixture in densely closing container for a long time.
Add water (or herbs decoction, kefir, milk etc.) to this powder in a ratio of 1 to 1.
We should get mass, looking similar to liquid dough in its consistence.
Add essential oil of lavender that possesses skin soothing properties and mix everything well.
We should apply our finished mixture to a moisturized face, distribute it on skin with circular movements, after that wash off with cool water. Even one-time use of this cleansing mixture noticeably improves state of skin – it becomes smooth, tender and visibly refreshed.
- Saponaria powder may cause short-term reddening of very sensitive skin, so before you add it into dry mixture for face cleansing it’s obligatory for you to test it.
