Recently I was constructing a budget playing computer for me. As the computer was going to be budget, though playing, and the case also had to be budget, but with condition of having all the slots needed, all the connectors and additional places for installation of coolers.

As a result I chose the case by Thermaltake, it costed very cheap about 60-70$. I was attracted by its light weight, as usually gaming cases weigh so much that it’s difficult to pick it up in assembly. And also the fact of lower placement of power supply is actually more convenient then when it is regularly placed above. And you shouldn’t be afraid that the case will constantly collect dust from the floor, as it absorbs air right from below, this case has filter on textile basis from below, right at place where there is an air leak. There are lays for cables, it’s convenient. On the back of the case there is a rubbery flexible opening for outlet of cables outside, though I never used it, I appreciated it. There is one slot for installation of small SSD disks, it’s fine, as I didn’t want to take much trouble over adapters.

Almost all sides of the case have many places for installation of extra coolers, what I used. Besides, the case has got a false panel for mainboard’s installation, for example fully-budget cases have only pins sticking up from chassis and that’s all. The case is ready to accept even 12.5 inched video card. There are convenient mounts for hard disk drives and you can install cooler on them, the slot for disks provides for this. The design of the case itself is very perforated for better ventilation, to add the filter from dust is on above as well as in front of the case. There is a small observation window, if somebody is interested to watch for rotation of coolers. Legs of the case are rather high, about 2cms from the floor. 2 USB ports are placed on the front panel, one of them is USB 3.0 and of course audio outputs except standard buttons. I have no complaints as for the quality of assembly and setting of details, everything is clear and precise. All in all, I am very satisfied with this playing case, for my money it’s more than worthy variant.
