The painful chaps on our heels often emerge in the summer time when we start wearing sandals and walking barefoot. Some people suffer from them all the year round, even in winter. To avoid this unpleasant problem, it is necessary to take care of the foot skin, to have chiropody made and to use nourishing and moistening creams. But if the heel chaps have already emerged, you can make a moistening balsam that contributes to the quick healing of the small injuries.

Weigh oils and waxes and heat them on the water bath. The oils we have chosen (the olive, shea, coconut and cocoa ones) have soothing and skin nourishing characteristics. The bees and candelilla waxes soften our skin by forming a membrane on its surface that prevents moisture loss and protects from the aggressive impact of the environment. Moreover, these waxes have a pronounced bactericidal injury healing effect.

The waxes melt much longer than the oils. To accelerate their melting you can stir the oil mixture with a spoon or a glass stick while heating.

While getting cool, the balsam for feet solidifies. When it gets in touch with skin it melts immediately. The balsam is perfectly spread on the skin, it is completely absorbed in 10-15 minutes. It should be applied on the clean skin in the evening. To strengthen the effect you can put on cotton socks.

  • It would be much more effective to use the soothing balsam after exfoliating gel for foot or «magic socks».
  • As there is no water phase in the balsam composition, we don’t add conservation agents.
