I work with cosmetics. Because of this, I am faced with the fact that people are afraid of sodium lauryl sulfate and parabens. But sodium lauryl sulfate is the foundation of almost all the soaps in the  industry. It is also an ingredient in shower gels, shampoos, toothpaste, etc. SLS is present in varying degrees. And this notorious SLS is used worldwide and is considered to be a very cost-effective component.

For those who are afraid of SLS, an alternative is baby shampoo. Here is a popular brand – Watermelon Boom. This shampoo is from a series of Avon Naturals Kids products. It also has an extra bonus, you can use it without tears. Note that the base of this shampoo does not contain any lauryl sulfate, but it contain cocamidopropyl betaine of sodium. This component has detergent properties, it is derived from coconut oil. In the children’s cosmetics, more benign compounds are mostly used, it is because children’s skin are more delicate. Lauryl sulfate, though recognized as a safe substance in allowable concentrations, it can cause irritation. In addition, it is irritating an eyes.

Baby shampoo-conditioner “Watermelon boom” smells good, it foams in moderation. Your hair after using it becomes soft. The smell is just like pleasant fruit smell; though it has nothing similar to watermelon’s smell, at all. Shampoo has a transparent consistency with a barely noticeable touch of orange.
