Effervescent pralines for bathing are very good “hybrid” of oil bars and bath geysers. They are fast and easy to make. After using chocolate praline, skin becomes so soft and gentle; no need to use any moisturizing or nourishing cream and body lotion.

You´ll need

  • Shea butter – 0.71 oz (20 g.)
  • Cocoa butter – 0.71 oz (20 g.)
  • Sweet almond oil – 1.06 oz (30 g.)
  • Cocoa mass – 1.41 oz (40 g.)
  • Polysorbate-80 – 0.35 oz (10 g.)
  • Baking soda – 3.53 oz (100 g.)
  • Citric acid – 1.76 oz (50 g.)
  • Absolute vanilla – 5 drops

    Weigh oils and grated cocoa. Put them in a water bath until they melt.

    Add Polysorbate-80 in the melted oil mixture. This helps the oil to be evenly distributed in the water and prevent the oil traces to come out on the bath walls.

Warnings

    I adore chocolate so much that I can’t imagine myself spreading it over the skin instead of enjoying its incomparable taste. To my mind, it is just a waste of product, though the pralines look really nice.
