How to make Beldi soap that can fight skin problem
Beldi soap is globally known for being effective in fighting skin problem, making skin soft and smooth. It also helps remove minor cosmetic defects, such as pimples, peeling and redness. Beldi is usually prepared with eucalyptus leaves and olive oil. Nowadays there are lot of recipes for pasty soap with a range of different fillings which are still called Beldi by soapmakers. One of them is Beldi soap with turmeric and calendula, which are designed for skin care, particularly those prone to acne.
- Olive oil – 10.58 oz (300 g.)
- Coconut oil – 2.12 oz (60 g.)
- Castor oil – 1.41 oz (40 g.)
- SF 6% (sweet almond oil – 0.56 oz (16 g.) and sea buckthorn oil – 0.28 oz (8 g.))
- Potassium hydroxide – 2.79 oz (79 g.)
- Water – 4.94 oz (140 g.)
- Calendula flowers – 3.53 oz (100 g.)
- Turmeric – 0.14 oz (4 g.)
- Essential oil of tea tree – 0.14 oz (4 g.)

Grind calendula flowers using a coffee grinder. These flowers have powerful healing characteristics. Calendula flowers are known for treating skin diseases, because of its active substances such as bioflavonoids, carotenoids, vitamins, and others. It also can be used as anti-inflammatory, antiseptic solution, and wound healer.

Sift milled flowers to remove big particles. You have to use only small particles for soap which will not harm your skin when used with Beldi.

Add SF (sea buckthorn oil and sweet almond oil) to the soap base and mix thoroughly. This will be the one to give reviving and nourishing capabilities.

Add the milled calendula, and mix them until they become uniform paste.

Add turmeric and the tea tree essential oil. Tea tree is one of the most effective essential oils noted for quickly handling skin trouble. Turmeric is frequently used in Ayurvedic medicine to get rid of skin problems. It also helps remove acne, skin redness and irritation.

Mix them thoroughly again. Transfer the Beldi to a pot and let to soak for 1-2 weeks. Beldi with calendula polishes the skin, helps remove dirt, reduces skin irritation and redness.
- Beldi with calendula does not cause dry skin. It can also be used as body wash.
- Much more effective would be to use Beldi after sauna when it is applied to the pre-warmed skin.

That’s true, the manufacturers often call “Beldi” the soaps that have nothing to do with the real Beldi. It is much safer and cheaper to make it yourself and be sure you use Beldi and not its fake.
I completely agree with you, it can be even harmful to spread the usual soap on your face thinking it’s Beldi.
