How to cook a delicious mushroom soup
It takes very little time to prepare this soup, and it consists of fairly simple ingredients that are always in the fridge. Therefore, I am excited to share my favorite recipe for making mushroom soup. This will be able to please the family with its unusual and tasty mushroom flavor.
- Fresh mushrooms – 10 oz. (300 g.)
- Potatoes – 5-6 pieces
- Carrot – 1 piece
- Onion – 1 piece
- Flour – 1-2 tbsp.
- Processed cheese – 1 piece
- Bay leaf, black pepper, salt – to taste
Potatoes must be peeled, washed and cut into small cubes. Then take a pan, place the potatoes there, fill it with water and set to boil.
Onions must be peeled and finely chopped.
Carrots should be cleaned and rubbed on a large grater.
Then we take a frying pan, heat it with sunflower oil to lightly fry the onion until semi-transparent state.
Add the carrots to the onions and stir fry together. Add to the vegetables one or two tablespoons of plain flour.
Mix everything well, fry for a minute or two and remove the roast from the heat.
At this time the potatoes should be actively boiling. It´s time to add the previously cleaned, washed and thinly sliced mushrooms.
When the potatoes are almost ready, add the sauteed onions and carrots and continue to cook.
Then take the piece of processed cheese, rub it on a large grater directly into the pot of soup, after a couple of minutes it is completely dissolved in the soup to give it a milky color.
Parsley must be well washed and finely chopped.
When the soup is almost ready, add the greens and remove from heat.
Here is a delicious and flavorful entree that is sure to impress even those who do not like mushrooms.
- The processed cheese to be used for the mushroom soup must be soft so that it will quickly dissolve. Hard cheese will only float on the top of the soup.
- Processed cheese can replace sour cream.
