How to bake a delicious cake with quince
Do you think it´s impossible – to cook a delicious cake with only 4 ingredients? You are wrong! You can actually do this and the finished cake will turn out very tasty. This recipe is also very easy, so it may be done by a kid who finds in the fridge eggs, sugar and flour. Most of all, the cake has a delicious aroma when it is done.
- Eggs – 5 pieces
- Sugar – 7.05 oz. (200 g.)
- Flour – 7.05 oz. (200 g.)
- Quince – 3-4 pieces
Let´s start with the preparation of the fragrant ingredient – quince. This must first be thoroughly washed, because there are a lot of fibres on its surface.
Then cut it into 4 pieces, like an apple and remove the middle. Cut the quinces into thin slices. When stuffing is ready, proceed to the preparation of the dough.
In a separate bowl add the eggs and then sugar.
Beat the eggs and sugar well with a mixer. You need to beat for about 10 minutes. The result is a lush airy mixture with smooth consistency.
Add the flour to the egg mixture.
Thoroughly mix dough future, to avoid lumps of flour.
The dough for the pie is slightly thicker than for cooking flapjacks.
Take a baking dish and grease it with oil. Preferably to use melted butter, rather than oil.
At the bottom of the prepared baking dish pour a little dough, about one-third.
Laid on top of dough about half of the prepared quince.
Pour on top a small amount of dough again. Then another layer of quince, which is poured over the remaining dough.
Preheat the oven to 350 F (180 C) and put the form in the oven. Baking time depends on the size of the form, but usually take about 1 hour. Opening the oven door during cooking is not recommended. When the time is ready to remove the cake, it is also the time to entertain your guests. Enjoy your meal.
- No baking powder or baking soda was added to the apple pie because it is not necessary. The cake will very airy because of the well-beaten eggs.
