How to make sugar scrub cream
Sugar scrubs are very popular, because after their using skin becomes soft and smooth, improves the absorption of creams and lotions. Many cosmetic brands offer a broad assortment of sugar-based scrubs. But scrub like that you can make easily at home. One of the ingredients is Sucragel, which allows in a few minutes to make a scrub perfectly softening and clearing your skin.
- Shea oil 0.88 oz (25 g)
- Mango oil 0.88 oz (25 g)
- Emulsifier Sucragel AOF 0.53 oz (15 g)
- Poppy-seeds 0.35 oz (10 g)
- Sugar 0.88 oz (25 g)
- Colorant (2-3 drops)
- Odorant Kiwi
We melt the oils on the water bath. Shea and mango oils are excellent soften and nourish the skin.
We add Sucragel to the oils. This component gets rid of the feeling of greasiness on the skin after the scrub. That’s why it is safely to add the oils to our recipe.
We mix the mixture by minimixer until it will thicken.
We add some drops of colorant (food or cosmetic).
We’re adding poppy-seeds. They not only will give to the scrub similarity with the crushed kiwi fruits, but also will make additional peeling effect on the skin.
Add the sugar. We mix everything very well that the sugar will evenly distribute among all the volume.
When you will store the scrub at the room temperature, the scrub will be supple and soft. The scrub will be denser if you will put it to the refrigerator. But anyway, getting on warm and wet skin, the scrub becomes to a soft lotion with scrubbing particles.
It is necessary to store the cream-scrub in well-closed tank to prevent ingress of moisture.
- In the manufacture of a scrub, use only the highest quality cosmetic odorants. For example, essential oils with minimum dosage.
