How to prepare a salted red fish
Trout is a kind of fish that is simply surprising. Meat of a trout can be baked, salted and from trout and other red fish, it is possible to cook soups or to do baked puddings. Options of salting of red fish this way will help preserve the natural goodness of fish and will improve its efforts in preparation.
- Red fish – 1 piece
- Salt, sugar
- Bay leaf, pepper black peas
First you have to clean fish by removing the scales; cut off a tail and cut off the fins.
Then cut a fish on 2 halves, whenever possible it is necessary to get rid of all the bones.
We start the process of salting of a red fish. For this purpose it is necessary to mix salt and sugar. You need 2 tbsp of salt of 1.5 tablespoons of sugar. The less sugar we add, the more saline fish turns out as a result.
You need to prepare the red fish through a salting process. First you need to choose a pan with a flat bottom, you will put a press afterwards. Then spread internal surface of a pan with ready-made blend of sugar and salt and put one half of a red fish in a pan. Next step you have to rub that half of a red fish with salt and sugar with the prepared mix, then from above we stack some laurel leaflets and a couple of peas of black pepper, now put a second half of red fish from above, we rub it too with this mix.
You need to create a simple press. For this procedure, I used a jar filled with water. Place this in a cold area like a refrigerator and keep this cool and pressed until the morning.
In the morning, you get a freshly pressed and salted red fish that is very appetizing. Bon appetit.
