How to prepare atlantic pollack with mayonnaise
Today I want to bring to the attention of readers culinary recipes that are simple and at the same time tasty. I think that for people who love fish and like to prepare fish, I want to offer the option of stewed fish.
- Atlantic pollack – 1.5 pound (700 g.)
- Onions – 5-6 pieces
- Mayonnaise – 0.5 pound (250 g.)
In cooking fish it is necessary that it is clean, cut off all the fins. It’s better to take filleted fish if possible. Cut off the tail and take out a black film from the abdomen of the fish to prevent it from tasting bitter; or you may just remove the whole abdomen part of the fish.
Fish should be cut in portioned slices.
Prepare the onions. I want to tell you that in this dish the more onions the better.
Onions should be cut into thin half rings.
Fish will be will spread in two separate layers. Take a glass heat-resistant pan and spread fish on the bottom. Add salt and pepper (you may also add a few of sugar to get particular taste). It is possible to also add any type of seasoning which is ideally used for fish dishes.
The next layer you add onions. We add on top of the fish onions so that it covers fish completely.
Then add salt and pour mayonnaise.
Mayonnaise is spread evenly on the surface.
Then spread the second layer of fish tightly. Then layer the same ingredient as in the first layer used.
The last layer should be covered with cheese. But you may do without it.
When the fish is finally covered place the dish in to the microwave oven, it is also possible in an oven. Put the dish on usual microwaves mode for 40 minutes. If you prepare in an oven, the time of cooking needs to be increased twice. If you put a deep plate or any pan under the cooking pot, you will keep microwave oven from greasing during the process of cooking.
