How to cook fish chops
In cooking cutlets made from fish you need to spend a lot of time, but once you are done this fish is really very tasty.
- Fish – 2 pounds (1 kg.)
- Pork meat – 7 oz. (200 g.)
Cooking fish begins with cleaning the fish. You need to clean of scales, entrails and cut the tails.
Remove the peel of the onions. To 2 pounds (1 kg.) of fish you need three bulbs.
Grind all the ingredients.
Since the fish has bones, you need to grind it twice.
Add salt and spices.
Next, add the semolina. It will easily mix with the ingredients.
When everything is thoroughly mixed, the mixture must be left for a while to allow the semolina to swell.
Cutlets may be fried in vegetable oil. They can be crumbed in the same semolina. However it is possible without the breading. Pour oil on the pan but not too much, because in the process of frying meatballs excess fat will be drawn from the meat.
Fry patties over medium heat on both sides until golden brown. Do not cover the pan with a lid. Juicy chops are elastic in texture but delicious to taste.
You can eat it with pasta or mashed potatoes.
