How to prepare a tasty tea for a cold
When there are colds, tea with a lemon is a warming, invigorating and at the same time a great drink when you are struggling with infections. Tea becomes your favorite drink. Here is an option to drink tea for colds which also includes a lemon. And along with lemon is cinnamon which is also considered one of the best medicines for cold. Cinnamon may also help improve the level of sugar in blood, interferes with formation of blood clots, improves blood circulation and memory. Cinnamon is does not have to be in powder form, it may be in sticks which can be found in spice departments in supermarkets. Fresh mint is on sale during the winter in supermarkets as well; and in vegetables or spices aisle, it is possible to replace it with dried mint. It won’t affect the taste of tea though fresh mint branches look more attractive.
- Cinnamon stick
- 2 slices of a lemon
- Honey teaspoon
- Branch of fresh and a little dry mint

Place stick of cinnamon and a mint branch in a teacup. You may use a bigger cup if you love tea.

Fill in a cup with boiled water about 3/4 of the cup.

Cover the cup with a saucer and let the tea drawn for 1-2 minutes. It becomes a drink with stick of cinnamon and mint that has managed to satiate the aroma of the tea.

Put a 1 tsp of honey in the cup.

Now put lemon slices. In the meantime tea will be slightly cooled down therefore it is preferable to add a little hot water.

Everything is done and tea is ready.
- Cinnamon in this tea is a long-playing part: the same stick can be used up to 5- 6 times. And its aroma reveals gradually, it is the most delicious at the third use.
- Contraindication to such tea is an allergy to honey. Also it isn´t recommended for women on early terms of pregnancy.
