How to cook lush pancakes without yeast
Pancakes – a traditional Russian dish. Pancakes for this recipe are delicious, fluffy and flavorful. The secret lies in the milk whey.
- 2.5-3 cups flour
- 2 cups of milk whey
- 3 tablespoons of sugar
- pinch of salt
- teaspoon of baking soda
Sift flour in a deep bowl.
Be sure to add salt. If this is not done, the pancakes are obtained raw.
A very important point – the soda. Do not forget about it or you will not produce pancakes. Serum reacts with the baking soda, which actually gives a special splendor.
I was a little hasty, but, usually, I mix the flour, sugar, salt and baking soda before adding serum. Then, pour the serum. Not all at once, but pour the first half.
Knead the dough and bring it to the right consistency with the help of serum.
The dough should look like rather thin cream, but not liquid.
Within a few seconds you can see that it “breathe” as the top forms bubbles. This means that you have done everything correctly.
On a well-heated pan pour in the oil. More is better. If the pan is dry, the pancakes will not rise. But no need to float them in oil, or oily pancakes would be obtained, which is not very pleasant.
Fry pancakes on both sides until golden brown.
A small amount of the dough is based on 4-6 servings you can get a whole pile of pancakes.
Serve the pancakes with either jam, sour cream or condensed milk.
- In the manufacture of pancakes, eggs are not used.
