How to make fruit soap
- White soap base - 9 oz. (250 g.)
- Transparent soap base - 12 oz. (350 g.)
- Sweet almond oil – 0.9 oz. (25 g.)
- Tropical fruit flavor – 0.03 oz. (1 g.)
- Green dye
- Poppy
-
Cut the white and transparent soap base into cubes and place in a water bath to melt. You should use 2 different mixing bowls for this.
-
When transparent soap base has completely dissolved, add a sweet almond oil. You must measure 0.52 oz. (15 g.) of oil.
-
Then add tropical fruit flavor in the mix. You can pre-mix tropical fruit flavor with an oil and place into the soap base mixture together.
-
Add green dye, stir carefully. Allow the mixture to cool down. Set this aside.
-
Now take a second bowl with a melted white soap base. Add sweet almond oil to this base. You must measure 0.35 oz. (10 g.) of oil.
-
Add tropical fruit flavor in this mix too.
-
Add the green dye.
-
Now take a bowl with the transparent soap base. When the soap has cooled down, it forms a coat on its surface, you have to remove the coat from the surface of the transparent soap base.
-
Do this to the white soap base as well.
-
Place a few poppies in the white soap base.
-
Next steps must be done very quickly. Place the transparent soap base in a mold. When bubbles appear on the surface sprinkle them with alcohol.
-
Pour the white soap base with poppies into the green transparent soap base at the center of mold.
-
Leave the soap base in the mold, allow the soap to solidify.
-
Remove the soap from the mold after a few hours.
-
You may cut these into desired portions.
-
Place each bar of soap in a sealed plastic wrap or gift bags.
- When the soap base cools down, it forms coat so it is important to work very quickly.
